Du bist Teil des Product Teams und verantwortest die Architektur und Entwicklung der Backend-Prozesse in der Cloud
Du nutzt deine Erfahrung, um neue Vorschläge einzubringen, deine Teamkollegen zu beraten und bestehende Methoden zu hinterfragen
Du förderst eine Kultur der Agilität, in der das Schreiben von automatisierten Tests und die Anwendung von Best Practices und Industriestandards zur täglichen Gewohnheit werden
Du bist ein Macher, nimmst gerne selbst etwas in die Hand und treibst Projekte eigenständig voran

Über dich

Du hast einschlägige Erfahrung in NestJS und Typescript (> 3 Jahre)
Du hast Grundkenntnisse von MongoDB oder Vergleichbarem
Erfahrung mit DevOps ist ein Plus, aber kein Muss
Test-basiertes Development ist für dich mehr als nur ein notwendiges Übel
Du hast Spaß daran, bestehende Prozesse mitzugestalten und neu zu denken
Du liebst es, etwas von Grund auf Neues zu entwickeln
Du sprichst gut Englisch

Über uns

Wir sind ein junges Start-up aus Köln und entwickeln eine ganzheitliche App, die den Alltag von LKW-Fahrer:innen erleichtert.

Jeder kennt die überfüllten LKW-Parkplätze an der Autobahn. Teilweise stehen die LKWs sogar in den Ein- und Ausfahrten zu Rastplätzen oder Auffahrten. Ausweichmöglichkeiten gibt es häufig keine. Es wird geschätzt, dass täglich über 30.000 Parkmöglichkeiten fehlen. Viele LKW-Fahrer:innen sind also gezwungen, illegal zu parken. Um das zu verbessern haben wir Aparkado Anfang 2020 gegründet. Seitdem entwickeln wir gemeinsam mit unserem exzellenten Team Lösungen für den beruflichen Alltag von Berufskraftfahrer:innen in Europa unter dem Motto "Made For Truckers". Die LKW.APP umfasst neben einem intelligenten Parkleitsystem etwa auch ein Bewertungssystem für Laderampen und ein Benefit-Programm für den persönlichen und beruflichen Alltag der Fahrer:innen.

Die LKW.APP soll Fahrer:innen nicht nur einen sorglosen (Arbeits-)Alltag ermöglichen, sondern ihnen auch eine Stimme geben, damit sich die Arbeitsbedingungen und das Image des Berufs künftig verbessern. Wo wären wir ohne sie?

2022 sind wir zu Deutschlands Startup-Champ gewählt worden und nutzen diesen Schub, um mit unserem Team und dir die Logistik-Branche nachhaltig zu verändern.

About the role

You are part of the product team and are responsible for the backend architecture and development of backend processes in the cloud
You use your experience to make new suggestions, advise your teammates and question existing methods
You will foster a culture of agility where writing automated tests and applying best practices and industry standards become a daily habit
You are a doer, like to take things into your own hands and push projects forward independently

About you

You have relevant experience in NestJS and Typescript (> 3 years)
You have basic knowledge of MongoDB or similar
Experience with DevOps is a plus, but not a must
For you, test-based development is more than just a necessary evil
You enjoy helping to shape and rethink existing processes
You love developing something new from scratch
You speak English well

About us

We are a young start-up from Cologne and are developing a holistic app that makes everyday life easier for truck drivers.

Everyone knows the overcrowded truck parking lots on the highway. There, the trucks even stand in the entrances and exits and cannot get out of the way. It is estimated that there is a shortage of over 30,000 parking spaces every day, which is why many truck drivers are forced to park illegally. To solve this we founded aparkado in early 2020. Since then, together with our excellent team, we have been developing solutions for the daily professional life of professional truck drivers in Europe.

Better parking, better loading, better living. Under this motto, we have been developing a holistic platform for truck drivers ever since. In addition to the parking guidance system, the LKW.APP includes a rating system for loading ramps and a value-added program for personal and professional everyday life.

With LKW.APP, we pursue the goal of simplifying drivers' everyday work and giving them a voice to improve working conditions and the image of the profession.

In 2022 we were elected as Germany's Startup Champ in the field of mobility and use this push to change the logistics industry with our team and you.
